Diego Armando Maradona (born 30 October 1960 in Lanús, Buenos Aires) is a former Argentine football player, and current coach of the Argentine national side. He came top in an internet vote for the FIFA Player of the Century award, and shared the award with Pelé.

March 30, 2009Joseph Stalin (born Ioseb Besarionis dze Jughashvili – 18 December 1878 – 5 March 1953) was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union’s Central Committee from 1922 until his death in 1953. In the years following Lenin’s death in 1924, he rose to become the leader of the Soviet Union.
Stalin launched a command economy, replacing the New Economic Policy of the 1920s with Five-Year Plans and launching a period of rapid industrialization and economic collectivization. The upheaval in the agricultural sector disrupted food production, resulting in widespread famine, such as the Soviet famine of 1932-1933, known in Ukraine as the Holodomor.

March 18, 2009Josip Broz Tito, original name Josip Broz ( 7 May 1892 – 4 May 1980) was the leader of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1945 until his death in 1980. During World War II, Tito organized the anti-fascist resistance movement known as the People’s Liberation Movement led by Yugoslav Partisans. Later he was a founding member of Cominform, but resisted Soviet influence and became one of the main founders and promoters of the Non-Aligned Movement. He supported the creation of a Yugoslav nationality and identity as a Pan-Slavic replacement of the existing nationalities in Yugoslavia, and thus through his actions, was considered a Yugoslav.
